Edit or remove a team member
Update someone's details, pause them or take them off your team
People change roles, take a break or move on. You can update a team member, turn them off for a while or remove them, all from your Staff list.

Edit a team member
- Go to Staff.
- Select Edit on the person you want to change.
- This reopens their wizard, with the same Profile, Availability and Booking Preferences steps you set when you added them.
- Make your changes on any step.
- Save your changes.
Turn a team member on or off
Most of the time you do not need to delete someone. Each person has an Active switch on the staff list that disables them instead, so use that when someone is away but coming back, like maternity leave or a long holiday.
- On means they take bookings as normal.
- Off means they are disabled. Clients can no longer book them, but their record, history and settings stay in place.
Flip the switch back on when they return, and nothing is lost.
Tip: Disabling is almost always the better choice over deleting. Turn a person off to clear them from the booking page in a moment, then back on when they return, with all their details intact. Save deleting for someone who was added by mistake or is gone for good.
Remove a team member
Removing takes a person off your team for good.
- Go to Staff.
- Select Delete on the person you want to remove.
- Confirm.
Warning: Removing a team member cannot be undone. If they may return, turn them off instead.
Note: Only a role with permission to delete staff can remove someone. If you do not see the option, ask an owner or manager.
