Add a client

Keep a client's details and notes in one place

You can add a client any time, and SalonGrid also creates one for you whenever a new person books. Keeping their details current means better reminders and a warmer welcome each visit.

Add a client

  1. Go to Clients.
  2. Select Add Client.
  3. Enter their first name, last name and phone number. These three are required.
  4. Add their email if you have it. It is not required, but it is how reminders, aftercare and offers reach them.
  5. Fill in anything else that helps: a photo, their birthday, how they found you under Acquisition Channel, and their Instagram.
  6. Add a note for anything the team should remember, like a favourite style or an allergy.
  7. Save the client.

Note: Phone is the one contact detail you must have, so a walk-in with no email can still be saved. Add an email when you can, or that client misses every reminder and offer.

Tip: A birthday on file lets you reach out with a treat at the right time, and a note keeps every stylist in the loop.
