Add a category

Categories are the top level of your menu. They group your services so a client finds what she wants in a tap, like Hair, Nails or Spa.

Add a category

1. Go to Services.
2. Select Add Category.
3. Give it a name, like Hair or Lashes. A short description is optional.
4. Save the category.

The category is also where you set its add-ons, the extras every service in it can offer.

Note: If you chose a business type during onboarding, SalonGrid added starter categories for you. You can also start from a template to add a ready-made set.

💡

Tip: Keep categories broad. Hair is a category. Braids is a service inside it.
