Promo codes
Shareable codes clients enter when they book online
A promo code is a code clients type in when they book online, to claim an offer you are running. Share it in a campaign, on social or in person, and the saving comes off their booking. Promo codes are open on every plan, so a new salon can run a launch offer from day one.

Create a promo code
- Go to Engage and open Promo codes.
- Select Add Promo Code.
- Enter a Promo Name, like LAUNCH20. The name is the code clients type in.
- Enter a Value.
- Choose a Type:
- Percentage takes a percent off, like 20%.
- Fixed takes a set amount off.
- Under Applies To, choose Services & Products, Services Only or Products Only.
- Save the code.
Clients enter the code on your booking page to claim the offer. The saving also shows on your dashboard under discounts, so your net sales stay honest.
Set who and when it works
Each option below is off until you turn it on, so a plain code with no limits works for everyone:
- First appointment only keeps the code for brand-new clients.
- One-time use lets each client use it once.
- Expiration date ends the code on a date you pick.
- Limit to certain days and times runs the offer only in chosen windows, like quiet weekday mornings.
- Recurring lets a client use it again once every set number of days.
- Limit per customer caps how many times one client can use it.
Limit it to certain services
Turn on Limit to specific services to aim the code at part of your menu. You can pick any mix of:
- Services
- Styles
- Products
The code then works only on what you chose.
Tip: Use a promo code for an online push you can share, and a discount for an in-person, on-the-spot reduction at the register.
